The Gratitude Education Of The "after 80" University Students

The gratitude education has been the most important contents of the moral education whether in China and abroad since ancient times. It is the kind of behavior standard existing in any human society. It is praised in different cultures. Therefore the gratitude education is vital in education.The"after 80"university students are the overwhelming majority of the current college students. They are born in the special time. There are some new characteristics in their ideological concept, the value orientation and the attitude towards their life. In today's society, the"after 80"university students have certain flaws in consciousness of gratitude. Their behavior of gratitude also needs improving. The author made a few preliminary exploration about how to strengthen the gratitude education of the"after 80"university students on the following four parts, for contributing to the construction of the socialism harmonious society.At first the article has given certain theoretical analysis about the gratitude education and combed the thoughts of the Western cultures and ancient China. There are four reasons about why the"after 80"university students have certain flaws in consciousness of gratitude. The reasons are as follows: 1st, the students'physiology advancing and psychological hysteretic quality; 2nd, school moral education idealization and reforming society's wicked popularizing; 3rd, traditional virtues insufficient and Western thoughts multiplication; 4th, mainstream values simplification and students individual diversification. Then, the author analyzes the importance of strengthening the gratitude education to the"after 80"university students. There are some important things we can do to improve it. Finally, the attempt proposed strengthens carries on to it feels grateful the education efficient path——instruction to gratitude and raising grateful consciousness; improving the practice of gratitude education and internalizing the morals; strengthens the self-training and enhancement responsibility consciousness.
