The lack of imagination cultivation for senior high school students is shortage of current writing lecturing. Therefore, this thesis approaches the importance of imaginative writing and cultivation mode of imagination in senior high school. Imagination is the internal drive of our self-development and one of the motivities for social progress. Whatever from the aspect of promoting students' self-fulfillment, inheriting fine traditions, improving national creation or from the aspect of examination and enhancing students' interest in writing, it is necessary and important to study the training method of imaginative writing to boost students' imagination and literary creation. Imagination is contained in the nature and self-presentation, transcendence are the basic demands of human beings. Literary imagination and fiction is one of the methods of self-presentation and transcendence. However, the imagination of senior high school students is declining owing to the insufficiency of necessary classroom lecturing and instruction. Imagination cultivation in senior high school is endowed with special age advantage. The thesis defines the nature of imagination as transcendence of experiences, which can be expressed by a concentric circle. With the combination of reading and writing, four thinking trainings of connection, composition, speculation and heterization, realize the thinking extension from internal circle to excircle through the methods of substance originality training, scenario training, mythology creation, story redacting, differences seeking, etc. to realize the transcendence of experiences.
