Research On Folk Art Teaching In Middle School

Folk art is a very important part of folk culture and it is also a valueable cultural heritage of mankind which reflects the national features and native spirits from the view of art as well as the national concept of value. Education is an important bridge which human cultural heritage can continue with. Teenager who is the key point for the inheritance of culture or even is the most important part if education is treated as the entrance. The new curriculum standard of art especially emphasized :"we should lead the students to learn our excellent nation and folk art so as to strenghen the understanding about our culture ."Investigation shows that the popular concept of value is pulling students far from their own national culture, and school education is lack of systematization. so introducing the folk art into middle school class is a duty—bound of every art teacher. we espect that the following generation can be infused with national cultural gene so that they can agree with Chinese culture and face the social diversification with a manner of cultural self—respect.Depending on nearly two—year teaching practice and folk art teaching experience from other areas, I choose and develop the content which is suitable for the middle school folk art teaching. At the same time,I try to collect some excellent folk art resources from Inner Mongolia and introduce it into middle school art class. So that a kind of art teaching with local characteristics can form. It can make students learn local folk art and know the features of their local cultural art as well as cultivate their love for the local art. This paper mainly analyzes the local middle school art teaching, and offers some opinions about folk art teaching in basic education. The most important part is the research on folk art teaching form, teaching stratgem and effective teaching. Moreover,it also reflects some problems appearing in our present teaching, I hope it can be useful for the practical teaching and it can become a teaching basis for all the teachers.
