Curriculum Reform is the major part of Education Reform. With the advancement of the national compulsory curriculum reform, developing and utilizing various curriculum rescourses seems to be an effective way for the carry-out of the reform in school. How to develop a localized curriculum with the regional characteristics in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region attracts more attention.Under the background of the cross-culture communication, the kindergarten education in Inner Mongolia takes advantage of both the main development nationwide and its own regional cultural property. Therefore, there are affluent rescourses for the kindergarten curriculum reform in Inner Mongolia to adopt. On the basis of utilizing the Mongolian culture, developing a local curriculum with specific consideration of each kindergarten itself becomes more and more appreciated. This thesis, took the attached kindergarten of Inner Mongolia Normal University, the Mongolian kindergarten in Huhhot and the Mongolian kindergarten in XinCheng District Huhhot as the subjects to do the survey, introduced the vale of developing the kindergarten curriculum based on Mongolian culture and presented its theoretical points, analysed the current situation, and promoted the format for the future development of kindergarten curriculum.The thesis consists of five parts:Chapter One The introduction and literature review, focuses on the profound meaning of curriculum development and the research method advocated in the thesis.Chapter Two introduces the property of the Mongolian culture, and discusses the feasibility and value of the kindergarten curriculum development based on the Mongolian culture.Chapter Three mainly focuses on the presentation of the theories behind the kindergarten curriculum development, including the Multi-Intelligence, Constructionalism and so on.Chapter Four is the key part of the thesis, by using the questionnaire and interview, the author did a survey of the current curriculum developing situation of the attached kindergarten of Inner Mongolia Normal University, the Mongolian kindergarten in Huhhot and the Mongolian kindergarten in XinCheng District Huhhot. Based on the data, the author summarized the good points and the problems.Chapter Five, on the basis of the survey, the author pointed out the hypothesis of the development of kindergarten curriculum with reference to the Mongolian culture. It includes the selecting system, the principle, the contet and the case study of the kindergarten curriculum development based on the Mongolian culture.
