The mother-tongue is the soul to the national language education.It is vital to heritage a nation's culture, and form a person's character. Basing on the comparative study of writing system between PEP and JEPH senior Chinese textbooks,I try to improve the quality of mother-tongue's teaching in the text construction. This paper is divided into three parts.The first part is the survey of the writing system in the two textbooks. The second part is the comparative study of the writing system. The third part is the recommendations of the writing systems.The first part is written from the edit mode and content structure, and try to state the objective points from every aspect. According to the writing mode,PEP's writing system can be divided into three parts.First, the relatively independent arrangement combines with the oral communication.Second, the homework combines with the reading.The third writing training combines with the pectination and inquisition.JEPH's writing system is made up of two parts. Firstly, after the reading part ,each unit has the writing training.Secondly the writing training is combined with reading part closely.According to the content, the study mainly talks about the guidance system and the training system. Each writing guidance system is made up of writing knowledge and samples. The training system is made up of training types and specialities of training. According to specialities of each materials from different textbooks, the author aims to show the objective, thorough summary and conclusion to the readers.On the basis of the first part , the second part is mainly the comparative study in edit mode, guidance system and training system. The edit mode study is writen from the independent aspect and systematic aspect.The comparative study of guidance systems is writen from the plentiful knowledge,the exercisable writing methods and various writing samples. The comparative study of training systems is written from the correspondence of the training system and the guidance system, the abundance of training system , the diversity and flexibility of the training methods. In the comparision,I find the advantages and disadvantages of each material, I think these can provide factual basis for the third edition.In the third part,I introduce the principles and perceptions by the pioneers and editors, and put forward my own suggestions. First, the science and the practice should be combined. This part is written from the writing system itself, the basic rules of writing and the needs of users. Second, the independence and the integration should be combined too. As a part of teaching materials, it is necessary for the writing system to be independent and integrate with reading. Third, the guidance and the self-study should be combined. With the development of perceptions, teachers have changed the concept of the teaching materials,using materials is becoming more important. To the student,teaching materials is the source of knowledge. What's more, it should provide the guidance for the student and let the student find the entrance to the study world.By comparative study of two textbooks, I benefit from it very much and hope it can provide reference and enlightenment for research and the preparation of teaching materials.
