The study on the value orientation of China's rural vocational education curriculum in the new era can not be detached from social reality and education status. In the tide of building a new socialist countryside in the new era, the problem of"SAN NONG ISSUES"(agriculture, countryside and peasants) has a bearing on the overall situation of building a well-off society. Therefore, the value orientation of rural vocational education curriculum must comply with age requirements, advancing with the times, and echo the age demand of developing vocational education in rural areas. Only by setting the value orientation of rural vocational education at a scientific and reasonable position, can we enhance awareness of self-examination, embody true value of rural vocational education curriculum and promote a healthy and harmonious development of rural vocational education. Based on the basic theories of education, philosophy of education, rural sociology, and other disciplines and taking into consideration of the reality of China's rural vocational education, this essay sets the problems existing in current curriculum of rural education as key points in order to study deep-seated needs of countryside, agriculture and peasant and to find out shortcomings and their reasons existing in the value orientation of the current rural vocational education curriculum. The concept of"Serving the agriculture, countryside and peasants"as our value orientation in rural vocation education is thus raised here with a specific analysis and clear definition of it. The main purpose of the essay is to analyze rural vocational curriculum and to raise the principle for the structure of rural vocational education curriculum so as to provide theoretical reference, experience sharing and value recognition for the administrative institutions and policy makers in the field and to arouse rational recognition on rural vocational education curriculum.This essay includes three parts:Part 1: Analyzing the factors impacting the value orientation of rural vocational education courses and identifying the historical trend of value orientation of rural vocational education courses ,on the basis of an interpretation of related concepts of value orientation of our country's rural vocational education curriculum.Part 2: Looking into the initial motive of the reform in the rural vocational education curriculum since China opened to the outside world and analyzing the problems existing in the value orientation of rural vocational education curriculum as well as the reasons that have caused these problems, on the basis of a summarization and enlistment of typical examples in pursuit of value orientation of rural vocational education curriculum.Part 3: Re-recognizing the main idea of"Serving the peasants"in the rural vocational education courses based on a study of the above-mentioned two parts; putting forward suggestions and countermeasures to the optimization and adjustment of value orientation of rural vocational education courses while working out a principle for value orientation of rural vocational education courses in the new era.
