The Research On Human Resources Development And Management Of Independent Colleges

Independent colleges, as an important part of the higher education in China, have made great achievements and contributed a lot to the higher education. They have made positive effects on satisfying people's need for the diversity of higher education, cultivating various talents with practical skills, and promoting the education system and development of the higher education. Premier Wen Jiabao reported in the "Government Reports" of 2007 that "education run by the local people should be encouraged and disciplined to maximize the enthusiasm of the social recourses."Since the human recourse is the most active element in the production forces, how to explore its development and management and maximize its functions in the independent colleges include profound realistic meanings. Solving these problems is the premise to deepen the educational reform, establish "education system" and fasten the independent college development.In this paper, the author explores the case of Business College of Bubei University of Technology, with the references to the trials in the other independent colleges and other related papers or articles on the independent college or human resources. On the basis of analyzing the characteristics of the independent college human resources, focusing on the anlysis of the status of human resource management and affecting factors in Business College of Bubei University of Technology, the author put forward some strategies to improve the development and management of the the human resources in this college. It is hoped that this paper would accordingly explore the general laws and problems in the development and management of the independent colleges to provide support and references for decesion-making in accordance with the long term interests-social and capital interests--of the independent colleges to promote the consistent, healthy and harmonious development.
