The credit system, with emphasis on students' independent study and character development quickly gets expansion in the international community, and becomes the main trend in reform and development of higher education in the 21st century. Being a big country in higher education, China has been promoting credit system reforms actively. With the continuously deepening reforms, higher and newer requirements in the model of teaching management are put forward. The teaching management work is an important part in high school management. Introducing the process reengineering theories into the teaching management in high school has positive effect on improving the teaching management efficiency and realizing high school's teaching targets.This text is based on historical data and draws lessons from the teaching management models of high school credit system at home and abroad. It combines concrete practices, takes XAUT as a research object, and launches a study research on the teaching management under the credit system. Firstly, this text uses relevant theories in business process reengineering (BPR) including concepts and basic contents, method choice, categorizing and concrete application etc., and takes a comparison research between the operation of the business enterprise and the higher education system, to prove the similarities between the two sides. Thus it establishes a foundation for carrying on business process reengineering in high school and points out that the process reengineering theories have the possibility of application in the high school teaching management. Secondly, it makes an analysis on the present condition of XAUT's teaching management process under the credit system, does an objective evaluation on the teaching management under credit system, and points out the current problems. Finally, combining process reengineering theories, it puts forward the reengineering of XAUT's management system in higher education under credit system, a new relocated proposal in the organizing forms of teaching management, measures in ensuring the reengineering, and the implement of relocated proposals. The text's main innovation lies in the introducing of business process reengineering into the improvement of the XAUT university teaching management, the beneficial analysis and discussion on the current problems, measures and paths from a process aspect, and the providing of a constructive reference to the development of the XAUT university teaching management.
