The Career Commitment Of Middle School P .E Teachers: Researches Of Its' Scale Developing And Inventory Survey

Tests are implemented over the high school RE teachers in Fujian Province with the aim to investigate the characteristics of high school RE teachers' career commitment and the relationship between job satisfaction and career commitment. Major findings are concluded below:1. The RE teachers' career commitment is composed by five dimensions as affective commitment, obligation commitment, cost commitment, chancing commitment, ideal commitment. Good reliability and validity exist in the scale for high school RE teachers' career commitment.2. The general level of the high school RE teachers' career commitment relies at the poor level. The order of the factors of the career commitment is that : ideal commitment>obligation commitment>affective commitment>cost commitment>chancing commitment. Sex differentiation is not found in high school P.E teachers' career commitment. The age contributes a lot in the performance of high school P.E teachers' career commitment, longer age results in the better commitment. The difference within the educational background is obvious regarding to the performance of high school RE teachers' career commitment, the level of teachers' career commitment declined followed by the improving of educational background. The difference within the plant of teachers is obvious regarding to the performance of high school P.E teachers' career commitment. The school grate is profound in the influence for the performance of the performance of high school P.E teachers' career commitment, the first grade schools exceeds the seconds as well as the thirds and normal schools.3. Job satisfaction of high school RE teachers was correlated with career commitment, and some influencing factors, work environment, school grade, promotion, professional title, age, could affect career commitment obviously.
