Research On The Current Situation And Promotion Of College Counselors' Professional Identity

The Party and the state have always attached great importance to the ideological and political education in Colleges and universities.College counselors' professional identity is an important link in the ideological and political education in Colleges and universities.College counselors are the backbone of College Students' ideological and political education and the organizers,implementers and guides of College Students' daily ideological and Political Education and management work.Guide.At the same time,I am currently serving as a college counselor in Shaoyang University.I am familiar with and interested in this aspect of the subject,so I will combine my own actual situation to write about the research topic of College counselors' professional identity.In this paper,the definition of College counselors' professional identity is deeply understood and studied through literature research.On the basis of sufficiently summarizing and referring to the previous studies,the corresponding questionnaire is formulated according to the index system of Influencing College counselors' professional identity,and the questionnaire survey method is used to influence college counselors' professional identity.All factors of professional identity are collected and analyzed.Through in-depth analysis of the questionnaire results,the status quo and existing problems of counselors' professional identity in four universities in Hunan Province are found.At the same time,professional opinions are collected through interviews and one-to-one dialogue with peer experts to increase the professionalism of research.The main problems found in the data collection and survey are: the lack of good professional values of College counselors,mainly reflected in the lack of professional ethics of a few college counselors,the lack of pure career motivation of a few college counselors;the low sense of belonging of College counselors,mainly reflected in the low overall satisfaction of counselors,society.The status is not respected;the professional behavior of college counselors tends to change posts,mainly reflected in the fact that more counselors tend to be teachers and administrative posts than in their own posts.At the same time,the reasons for these problems in the current situation of College counselors' professional identity are analyzed.In addition to the inaccurate color orientation of college counselors and their lack of professional skills,there are also low income,poor working environment and imperfect safeguard mechanism of college counselors due to the neglect of schools and society.This paper holds that the first step to improve the professional identity of college counselors is to get the support of the state policy,that is,the state should pay more attention to this profession and introduce relevant policies to support the development of College counselors;secondly,the implementation of University policy,the access mechanism,assessment mechanism and training machine of College counselors.The system and incentive mechanism should be strictly implemented in accordance with the standards,and the inappropriate personnel should be prevented from entering the counselors' ranks to the greatest extent;then,the promotion of social status should be strengthened,and the work achievements of counselors should be respected;finally,the self-awareness and self-skills should be strengthened,and the correct understanding of their own origins should be realized.Work,to maintain the love of their own work,unswervingly in their jobs to achieve their own value of life.
