Nowadays, the core of the world's education reform is to change"scientific conclusion education focused on knowledge"to"scientific process education focused on research"and emphasize the importance of learning in process. Besides,"process and method"is also one of the teaching aims after curriculum reform in China. According to some survey, the biggest human scientific quality gap between China and other developed countries lies in scientific methods. Therefore, whether to improve the whole quality of Chinese or to achieve the aims of new curriculum reform , it is necessary to strengthen scientific method education. Compared to the USA, we still fall far behind in this aspect, which makes it difficult to realize this educating method. To find a practical and effective way of teaching, I have done much research into practice and theory according my own experience in chemistry teaching.As to research into theory, this article begins with comment on scientific methods, then analyzes and builds the scientific method system of senior chemistry textbooks from the view of scientific method theory. It also puts the learning theory of Structuralism and the theory of perceive-detect of Bruna into practice. It prepares the students to learn as inventor, researcher, and explorer.As to practice study, this article aims to explore effective ways in class and out of class. In class: 1) Carry out class teaching mainly in the form of experiment and research and let the students experience the general methods . 2) An hour every two weeks is set aside to discuss and conclude a certain topic. Out of class: 1) The students in tested class regularly do experiment in lab, and are instructed to do research into interest experiment. 2) Organize the students to carry out research study , and extend scientific method education .The result is that carrying out scientific methods of education in chemistry in senior high school is not only beneficial to the students to master the scientific knowledge that they have to learn, and make great achievements but also is helpful to develop the students'good thinking quality and improve their scientific quality.
