The New Curriculum Course Reform and the Quality-oriented Education are calling for a transformation in the present Politics teaching from knowledge-centered towards human- centered, and an extension of the teaching content from pure book knowledge to social life, so as to cultivate senior high school students'inner qualities and train their comprehensive abilities. Case Teaching Method has eradicated the defects of the traditional didactic teaching and it effectively combines the political theory with practice. This teaching method enables students to think and analyze political problems in a concrete situation, thus enhancing their learning ability. Therefore, the introduction of Case Teaching Method to senior high school Politics course is of great significance to the promotion of Politics Teaching Reform and the Quality-oriented Education.Based on the above points of view, this paper will give a study from the following three aspects: Part One analyzes the status-quo of Case Teaching Method used in Politics teaching; Part Two explains the features and essence of Case Teaching Method, and the significance of applying such a method in Politics teaching; Part Three discusses the principles, form and major procedures of implementing Case Teaching Method, which are based on its practical appliance. In the end, the limitation of Case Teaching Method will be pointed out and the following study orientation be given.
