The Status Of The Teachers' Mental Health In Secondary Vocational Schools And A Brief Study Of The Corresponding Management Dtrategies

The teachers of secondary vocational schools ( underneath called SVSIS ) should perform not only the basic task of imparting knowledge but the challenging task of teaching vocational skills. At present, under a background of the rapid reform of educational system, of the updating of knowledge, and of a fierce competition, SVSTS are under a growing pressure of their job. For this point, SVSTS are suffering from the serious problem of psychological health. And we realize it has become increasingly a prominent issue.The problem of the teachers'psychological health are very crucial .They have positive effect not only on the physical and mental health development of the teachers themselves but also on that of the students they are teaching . It is the same with the quality of the vocational education. For this case we should put more concentration the study of SVTSS'psychological health.The problems of SVSTS'psychological health occurred in some aspects include : the heavy work pressures, non-motivation, dried-up career and so on. We must put an impersonal study of the factors from the aspect of society, schools, families, teachers'working condition and social skills to explain the sources which lead to the psychological problems of the teachers. On this basis, we focus our study ,from the point of educational management , on structuring a management pattern which takes talents as its foundation and providing a good working environment which benefits both the teachers and the related schools through the psychological health management strategies supported by concerns of society, schools, regulations and the teachers themselves. We hope our teachers are able to effectively manage the pressures they meet with in their job and lives.
