The construction of the socialistic market economy and the development of the China's modernization urge us to enhance our Citizen consciousness. Chinese citizens' mental outlook changes greatly since reform and opening-up, but citizen quality still exists many problems in our daily life, especially the weakness of high school students' citizen consciousness. School is the most important place in our life, it is also the main place to implement the education of citizen consciousness, so to some extent, the development of the school's citizen consciousness education, becomes an important index to measure the country's citizen consciousness level. The period of senior school is the key time to form citizen consciousness, so it is very important to pay attention to the citizen consciousness education. Now, China's high school education is still influenced by "exam-oriented education" , and during a long period, political education and moral education have replaced citizen consciousness education, it makes schools ignore citizen consciousness education. Entering the 21st century, there are a lot of problems need to be solved immediately throughout the world, and students' citizen consciousness education has become a focus.Fengdu experimental middle school is the key middle school, it trains nearly one thousand high school graduates every year. So the implement situation of its citizen consciousness education can reflects the whole schools' citizen quality education. This paper takes the theory of citizen consciousness education as a foundation, and has a research on citizen consciousness education of high school students of Fengdu experimental middle school, also uses the related study experiences of domestic and overseas. Through questionnaire method and interview method, the survey finds the problems of citizen consciousness education, and analysis its reasons, at last, it points out the strategy of how to enhance citizen consciousness education, we hope it can provide theoretical support and tactics reference for Fengdu experimental middle school's citizen consciousness education.This article altogether divides into four parts: first part is the introduction, it mainly includes the reason of topic selection, the definition of related concepts, the theoretical basis of the research and its literature review . Second part is the current situation investigation of citizen consciousness education on high school students of Fengdu experimental middle school. Through the questionnaire of teachers and students, and the interview of teachers, we know the concrete condition of its citizen consciousness education, and find out the problems. Third part is to analysis the reasons which based on the data of the survey. The last part is to put forward the strategy of enhancing citizen consciousness education on high school students, which according to the theory of citizen consciousness education and the advanced experience of domestic and overseas.
