What is moral education? What is moral education value pursuing? This is the main problem we study.According to the research purpose, we analyze Kohlberg's and Wilson's theory of moral education, absorb Roll's justice principle and comprehensive doctrine theory, then conclude that these kinds of the West moral education maintain that moral education ability is the development of moral knowing ability and inference ability theory, moral learning is not mainly learning contents, but grasping a method, and there is justice and no instillation idea. We criticize this idea and analyze the experience of this idea. We find the definition of instillation is different between the East and the West. The West commonly thinks instillation is useless and is wrong on moral. The East generally thinks instillation is neutral and is a kind of education method.The research of moral education needs more comprehensive moral concept and different angle to consider. For example, culture that of society factor etc. This is very important in absorbing the West moral education theory.The essay uses document method and philosophy method to do research. We use research result to generally consider the practice of university moral education in our country.
