The national ministry of education promulgated《Elementary curriculum reform outline(tentative)》and established three-level curriculum management system: national curriculum, local curriculum, school-based curriculum. With deeper advancement of the curriculum reform, local curriculum becomes focus and hot points in this curriculum reform. The domestic research of local curriculum develops fast and got some achievements, however, the situation of local curriculum implementation is lack of deep study. Compared with the middle and eastern provinces, Xinjiang is located in northwest of China and there's no systematic research on the situation of local curriculum implementation in this place. Thus, this thesis chooses in for the theme.The thesis divides into four parts.The first part is the introduction part. Elaborated the origin, goal, significance, limited the related concept, reviewed the research present situation and the tendency of our country local curriculum implementation, statemented this thesis research mentality and the method.The second part is the situation of Xinjiang local curriculum implementation. Mainly use the interview, the questionnaire, the classroom inspection method. In order to have an objective and complete understanding of the local curriculum implementation in Xinjiang, this thesis starts from making plan, implementation and evaluation of local curriculum implementation, meanwhile, it involved the participation of educational administration personnel, principal, the teacher, the student.The third part implements the question, analysis the reason for the Xinjiang local curriculum implementation. Through the understanding of the Xinjiang local curriculum implementation, there still exist a lot of problems, although the present work has made certain progress, but implementation also has the following problem: from the aspect of plan making, the training work lag, the related policy, the system construction also wait for consummating; Carries out the aspect of implementation, the class hour and the teachers is unable to meet the requirements, lacks the specialized construction, in the school supports insufficiently, the local curriculum resources construction is weak, the teacher in the curriculum realization and the curriculum quality are need for enhancing; as for the aspect of evaluation, there isn't a scientific and systematic evaluation system; as for the aspect of present research, the visual angle is mot open enough, the research question is not deep. Based on the analysis above, they are reasons following: the curriculum realization is weak for different levels; there is lack of regulation establishing system; the quality of teachers need further improving; the self-development of local curriculum is still immature.The fourth part deals with the strategy for the Xinjiang local curriculum implementation. They are as follows: (1) further consummates the plan of the Xinjiang local curriculum implementation; (2) completes the plan of Xinjiang local curriculum implementation earnestly; (3) establishes evaluation mechanism for Xinjiang local curriculum implementation; (4) Further strengthens the research of Xinjiang local curriculum implementation.
