A Trial Basis In Practice And Exploration Of The Credit System On The Craft Institutions

The Credit System is introduced from the West to be a more advanced education management system. It is not for long for Chinese education to practice the Credit System; Actually the Credit System for the technical institutions is still in the pilot phase without the experience which can be learnt and ill-prepared theory.Vocational education, which also emphasizes on the close combination of the theory and operation and stresses the development of the hands-on capacity, is an important part of professional education. So that it is not helpful for the education reform of the technical institutions with the simple copy and imitation from the domestic and foreign colleges and universities. Closely utilizing the vocational education and carrying out the research of the Credit system should be efficient method. With this background, the practice and the method of the Credit System on trial of the vocational institutions are launched in this paper.Firstly, the concepts on the Credit System were described in this article and then its connotations and characteristics were followed. Secondly, several main types of the credit system are compared and analyzed with a comparative study method. In order to achieve the reunification of the theory and practice, taking ZhuZhou Institute of Technology as an example, the credit system on a trial basis was proposed by using the case studies and the survey method and Summed up the effect of trial effect. The Innovation of the Credit Management System was proposed On the basis of the Credit System with some ideas of the management of teachers, students and school management system. Finally, the author put forward the measures to improve the credit system problems and the solutions for the implement of the Credit System on vocational institutions. In this paper, a number of explore and useful trials were practiced for the establishment of a systematic, scientific, operational Credit Management System which is adapt to the characteristics of the vocational education.Hope to provide a reference for other similar institutions to practice the Credit System.
