In recent years,with the increasing trend of development of society and the globalization of information,people put unprecedented attention on the spirit of innovation and capacity.in order to foster the creative talents,the key point is to focus on the education,the school also needs to change the trend of closed,out of the reality and oriented - knowledge teaching way fundamentally,establishing a curriculum system by which the students can study initiatively,leam the knowledge and solve the actual problems.It will not only be good to enrich the knowledge of student,adjust the structure of knowledge,make the system of knowledge perfect slowly,but also be better to accelerate the reformation and development of educational system.Research curriculumappears in the certain situation.Ministry of Education of the people's republic of China awarded《curriculum program of full-day common high school(trial and editing draft)》at the beginning of 2000,taking it as a given curriculum form introduced into curriculum system of middle school and elementary school,and make it as a core content of integrated practice course to list on the a compulsory course.It is the symbol of Research curriculum's development tending towards standardization.The form of curriculum program make sure the status of Research curriculum in school curriculum for the first time.Making "investigative study" be a part of colligation practicing activity, giving clear and brief explanation for essence and character,studying content,studying way,the goal of study.Ministry of Education awarded《Ministry of Education prints and distributes with regard to the notice of "investigative study" actualizing enchifidion(trying out) in common high school》in April,2001,made a exact provisions in every way about the implementation of research studying and provided powerful guidance for actualizing of Research curriculum.Our country's Research curriculum is based on advocating of education for all-around development about Research studying.It is one type of curriculum carrier which is based on Research studying and aims to serve the implementation of Research studying.It is a curriculum in which "with the lead and help of teacher,the students choose different research questions for discussion,paddle their own canoe of doing researches,according to their respective interests,hobbies and conditions,hence cultivating innovative spirit and creative ability.The prominent character of the curriculum is persistence in "choosing questions freely,exploring independently and creating freely" when the students develop curriculum.As a type of new curriculum system,it is supposed to take students' interests as motivation,to reflect students' desire for knowledge,to excavate the extent and depth of knowledge,to help research and solve problems with scientific attitude and methods,to tap students' potential as well as train their competence to study independently and be innovative.Our country's innovation of music education acquires tremendous achievement. Whereas,we should know the situation of current music basic education isn't optimistic, there are many problems existing in educational system and curriculum system.Music subject is a subject of many different subjects' integration.,the breadth and complex of music subject is beyond of other human's subjects.However,we don't know it in a comprehensive way,for example,thinking it as an unimportment subject just like "the desert after dinner" and no need to be existed.The senior musical class only needs to enjoy and sing,and is not necessary to have higher demands and so on.We have reformed the musical educational curriculum of common senior schools formany years,there is still have many problems in the orientation of course,nature,idea,goal,content,textbook,the way of teaching the development of curriculumresources,and evaluation method.,especially,the mucical course of senior school which is the weakest link in the basical education doesn't have fundamental change,the subject role and status don't get deserved attention.The thesis starts from the perspective of curriculum,introduce the new curriculm that gets a lot of attention recenty to the music courses system and position it again,meanwhile,the key point of the design and implementation of the curriculum is to transfer the passive learning into active studying and make students'sensuous rational thinking and practical ability apply comprehensivly.In addition,the thesis proposes the research of feasibility about applying the research -oriented courses in our school and investigate the current situation of middle schools deeply and interview with some of teachers in order to get the newly research about the field.The thesis falls into six chapters.Introduction is to explore the connotation,background,meaning and essence of research-oriented music education course.Chapter one:a review of research-oriented music education course.The author illustrates the theoretic basis of research-oriented music course,including theoretic foundation in Philosophy,Pedagogy and Psychology.Chapter two:the research on the necessity and feasibility of implementing research-oriented music course.The author first expounds six features of research-oriented music course,namely,affection,openness,exploration,practice,creativeness and process.And then points out that these features are indispensable to the implementation of the course. Furthermore,the author discusses the necessity and feasibility of implementing new course.The new course suits the development of times and therefore the sure choice of music education reform.Meanwhile,the new course breaks the system and formulation patterns of traditional curriculum so as to meet high school students' psychological needs and desire to learn more.Chapter three:the development and implementation of research-oriented music course.This chapter is mainly concerned with the basis of development,design types, content and system.The focus of this chapter,and the whole research as well is a case study of high school research-oriented music course.The author of this research selected five high schools in the city of Wuhan.By means of questionnaire,experiment and simulation teaching and interviews of music teachers,the author obtained authentic and effective statistical data,from which investigation results is further derived.The results paved way for the implementation of research-oriented music course.Chapter four:the role-positioning and strategies for teachers of research-oriented music course.This chapter discusses the role-positioning and role-changing of music teachers under the new course system,followed by reasons for these changes and strategies to adapt to them.Chapter five:how to establish perfect evaluation system for music course? The author explains five parameters of evaluation,including course plan,guiding principles of course formulation,course objectives,course setting,course content and effect.The evaluation is not from the school or teachers alone,but a joint participation of school, music experts,teachers,students and parents.Make sure the evaluation result is true. Importance should be attached to evaluation process.Chapter six:the construction and prospects of research-oriented music course.This chapter is devoted to the discussion of research-oriented music course as one primary course of school.The uniqueness of a school can find its best expressions in its primary courses,which is an important channel to train all-round talents.The setting of primary courses of school is an effective way to develop students' interest,foster their practical abilities,enchance intelligence structure and further reform education system. Simultaneously it is a necessary way to improve teachers' ability to develop curriculum. This chapter is to summarize the main content of the paper and put forward the necessity of implementing research-oriented music course,thus calling for the reform of music education curriculum.
