The reform of basic educational courses is coming. Compared to the previous one, the new course system has been innovating and breaking through greatly in its function, frame and content. This reform has brought teachers severe challenges and rare opportunities. In such knowledge and economy times, the development of teachers has been paid more and more attention in the area of course research and the reform of teacher's education and worldwide courses. As the principal part of educational practice, the teacher's ability affects not only the development themselves, but also the smooth execution of new courses, the education quality and even the growth of students. The development of teachers should be regarded as the intrinsic factor of teacher's professional growth, especially in the process of new courses'implementation, what, what kind or to what extent teachers really need? If we did not pay enough attention to the areas teachers need to improve on the way of their growth and the type and the extent of help they require, it would impact directly on the education, the effectiveness of course implementation, their ability to know themselves and the form of ability to personal development and planning. This research set the focus on the requirement for the teachers'development under the background of new course theory, surveying the advantages and shortage of teachers in Qingdao in order to adapt themselves to the development of the new course better. The final destination of this research is to promote the growth of both new course and teachers.This paper can be divided into the following parts:Quotation: Introduction of the reasons for selecting the topic of this research ,the present research situation,the theory of research,the practicce value,including the selection of research methods and purpose.Chapter I: Research on the significance of new course reform, the fundamental theory of"student-oriented, communicate among main bodies, construct automatically in activities, learn to learn"and teacher's reposition according to this theory.Chapter II: According to the current research frame, by means of random paper investigation among teachers and teacher representatives'symposium in Qingdao, emphasize to understand teachers'advantages and shortage during the implementation of new course and discover the factors effecting teacher's growth requirement including the changes of teachers'attitude and recognition, the impact of key cases, key issues, key persons and the influence of school environment and atmosphere.Chapter III: Meaningful exploration on how to pay attention and meet teacher's development requirements to foster their growth on the basis of investigation research and analysis, bringing forward aimed and constructive ideas of teacher's development in Qingdao as the the theory of new course.Epilogue: The reform of basic educational courses bring forward higher requirement for senior teachers, we teachers must try to understand the value and true meaning of the educational reform, quickening our steps in developing ourselves to adapt ourselves to the need of the new course.
