More and more researches have indicated that teaching is one of the professions under greatest pressure. If teachers can't deal with pressure successfully, which means that teachers'job pressure has not been released for a long time, teacher burnout will be engendered. Secondary vocational education is an important component of our high school education. Bearing the mission of training millions and millions of high-quality workers for the country, it is an important basis for our economic and social development .But researches in recent years have shown that teacher burnout in secondary vocational schools becomes more and more serious. The teacher burnout not only greatly affects the physical and mental health of the teachers, but also holds up the development of the students and the teachers themselves. It is essential for us to study the burnout of teachers in secondary vocational schools, and to study the formation of burnout factors and intervention strategies.This thesis summarized the general actuality domestic and abroad ,the evolution of this topic through the investigation of literature, deeply dig into the situation of teacher burnout, the major resources leading to the emergence of teacher burnout and further proposals to cope with teacher burnout. The research can reflect teacher burnout features in secondary vocational schools of the less developed areas in the eastern part of China. It can also provide a theoretical basis for schools, society, educational administration and teachers in particular. Their understanding and knowledge of the teacher burnout can help manage and build the teacher staff.This investigation locked the studied objects in 3 secondary vocational schools in Liaocheng and selected teachers to answer the questionnaires and to be interviewed, then analyzed the survey data and interview information. The paper consists of four parts as the following:The first part puts forward the introduction. It summarizes related research findings and combines related studying level,and then raises the purposes and contents of this article.The second part introduces the design of the questionnaires. It includes the definition of the core concepts in this article and the purpose, objects, ideas and methods of the questionnaires and interviews.The third part is about the result of the investigation. It generally describes the actuality of teacher burnout in 3 secondary vocational schools in Liaocheng .It proves that more than half of the teachers in secondary vocational schools have the teacher burnout symptoms in varying degrees. And the physical and mental exhaustion is in the moderate degree, depersonalization in low degree, and the reduced personal accomplishment is in high degree.The fourth part is about related findings and essential reasons leading to teacher burnout. It deeply discusses some reasons such as the students, the teachers, the school and the social problems. It also makes up some advice for the teachers, schools and the society.
