Researching On The State And Analysis About Performance Of The New PE Major Curriculum Program In Heilongjiang Province Universities

P.E major in colleges and universities is to train professional sports teachers, especially playing the major and important role in the training of teachers of elementary education. For the adaptation to the needs of the community and for the reform and development of their own P.E major , in June 2003, Ministry of Education has been conducting promulgated " Physical Education Majors Curriculum Program of Ordinary Colleges," on the basis of an investigation and feasibility for the sports professional education, teaching and needs of sports talent in the new century in colleges and universities at home and abroad, and it is asked to put into action from the beginning of a new school year in 2004 at colleges and universities in the country (including sports institutions, teacher-training institutions, comprehensive universities). In accordance with the spirit and requirements of sports training program of education professionals a new round of the amendment is now in the process of implementation at all colleges and universities.This paper has an analysis, identify problems and make recommendations on the status of investigation in the course of implementation of the new "curriculum program" in Heilongjiang Province. By the collection of eight training programs and relevant documents of P.E major with different types and levels in Heilongjiang Province, using literature data, mathematical statistics, comparison analysis and expert interviews and other research methods, from the comparison and conclusion of the objective of fostering talent, the training of personnel and curriculum requirements in three aspects in accordance with the spirit and the requirements of"curriculum program" at the same time, it has the overall understanding of implementation of "curriculum program" in the various institutions in Heilongjiang Province; This paper starts an analysis and discussion on the new round "curriculum program" whether it will reflect the needs of the society, whether it will adapt to the reform of competence education and elementary education, it will sum up the experiences of various institutions during the implementation, and lay a foundation for the further improvement and perfection of cultivation of P.E major. It strengthens the mutual learning and the exchanges among the Heilongjiang institutions providing useful references for the further reform of cultivation of P.E. major in institutions and the improvement and teaching quality and the training of the personnel with the high competence needed at home and adaptation to the modernization.
