Research study as a concept of learning and way of learning should runs through all stages of the study and all areas. In order to improve the quality of undergraduate education in China, in 2005 the Ministry of Education in [2005] No. 001 in the text, stressed that " promote the research study and enhance students creative abilities "; the United States in the 1998 well-known Boyer report stressed that in the undergraduate education, a research-based learning standard should be established with a view to re-study the quality of undergraduate education. In the different levels of education, students of different levels of knowledge and ability make research study at different educational levels. Compared with primary and secondary schools, research study of higher teachers college education has its own characteristics. The teaching status of higher teachers colleges and implementation of innovative education need to reform current traditional teaching methods and backward teaching methods. Carrying out the research study in higher teachers colleges, students will establish a new educational concept and in the future they will become important practicing and promoting people, thus the students will adapt to the times and meet the needs of basic educational reform.This thesis is divided into four parts: In the first part, the author introduces the background and research methods from the following aspects: problems existing in the process of the teaching, changes of primary education, educational reform of higher teachers colleges and so on. In the second part the author introduces the theoretical basis of the research study. In the third part the author introduces the significance, practice and exploration results of developing the research study in the course of advanced mathematics teaching. In the fourth part the author analyzes the factors to interfere the research study and countermeasures to deal with the problems.It has been proved that carrying out research study in higher teachers colleges can not only improve the overall quality of students but also be conducive to the curriculum reform, making higher education with the same strain of basic education, to train qualified teachers with high quality for basic education and to promote curriculum reform.
