Research On Scientific Method Teaching Of Junior Chemistry

Scientific method is the effective rules and ways formed by people in the practical activities of discovering and transforming the objective world. Chemistry teaching about the scientific methods for junior middle school students requires educators to guide the learners to experience the function of the scientific methods in study and learn how to use scientific ways to solve problems in a proper way, thus, help the learners to gain more knowledge, improve their learning ability and achieve the overall scientific accomplishment.On the basis of literature research, this passage tells us the history background and developments of the teaching about scientific methods, gives us its theoretical and practical meanings, brings forward the contents and features of Chemical teaching about scientific methods in junior middle schools, puts forward the basic ways of the teaching methods in science research, tells us how to implement scientific teaching according to the analysis and research of the new curriculum and proposes the appropriate and effective ways in doing that. Basic types of teaching about scientific method in junior middle schools such as observation method, experimental method, dates and facts collection method, model method, scientific abstraction method, comparison and classification method, inferential method and hypothetic method are fully expounded in this passage.In order to carry out this research, two different classes of 9th graders are chosen as the test class and the comparison class. The research has been on for one school year. The result indicates that it is helpful to implement the three-dimensional goals under the new curriculum idea using the way of teaching about scientific methods in class. As an important part of scientific accomplishment, teaching about scientific methods is the important way to train the students'learning ability in all their lives and help them to adapt to the future life.
