During the past several decades of ideological and political education process in China, the type ideological and political education of dominance by the "ducate" primarily was used much,and achieved remarkable results at that time and environment. But to the end of the 20th century, with the continuous deepening of reform and opening up, foreign ideologies and ideology massive flow out into college ,students' thinking more and more open and diversified, the thinking of independence, selectivity, variability, differences further enhanced, and the type ideological and political education of dominance by the "ducate" primarily has been difficult to meet the current ideological and political education requirements. Facing the change of the world situation, circumstances and education objects, continuing to study new methods, approaches, and carriers and raising the practical results of the ideological and political education of college students becomes the reality problem of not evading. Therefore, with the study of the implicit course, the theoretical study and practical exploration of recessive ideological and political education as a important complement to the dominant ideological and political education were paied more attention to and carried out.The recessive ideological and political education is refers to a kind of ideological an political education type for achieving certain education purpose, lies within beside the reality of all kind of carriers and social practice activities of ideological and political education, students do not receive the pedagogue focal point attention and the obvious sensation, causes to obtain the pedagogue some thought and the experience thought in unconscious.The recessive education and the dominant education are two kinds of different education forms of the university ideological and political education, they have differences, but also complement and promote each other. Research and development of recessive ideological and political education, is to adapt to the change of social environment development and the student ideological characteristics need, is the need of strengthening and improving the ideological and political education work of university student. Comprehensiving the study of recessive ideological and political education at home and abroad , we find that these studies or a lack of system, or remain in the theoretical research level, very little systematic study of highly realistic. The paper uses empirical research methods, on the basis of the analysis of the present situation and problems of recessive ideological and political education, points the countermeasure to strengthen the recessive ideological and political education and the key issues needing to address with strong practical and feasible.
