Gratitude education is a new task of moral education proposed by schools according to the situation that nowadays children lack the sense of gratitude. How to establish a suitable, effective and attractive method in gratitude education has become an important and urgent task.This thesis conducts a systematic research on the application of the strategy of dramatic games in gratitude education. Starting from the feature and value of dramatic games, it gives a theoretic analysis of why gratitude education requires dramatic games, and points out that, features of dramatic games, being life-relating and providing opportunities for expressing or exploring and the like, matches the speciality of gratitude education, and relevant research results in the theory of psychology, pedagogy and sociology have also provided theoretic support for the application of dramatic games in gratitude education. Then the thesis continues with an empirical research on the students of the school where the author works with, mainly through the way of empirical research, adopting prior and post tests comparing the plan, and combining methods of investigation, case analysis, obsevation, statistical analysis and so on. It also gives analysis of the results of the empirical research as well as relevant factors that may affects such results, further demonstrates the significance of dramatic games in gratitude education, and the value of dramatic games for the development of physical and mental health of stutents, for the gratitude education as well as for the social study of students. And meanwhile it puts forward with full range of proposals covering the whole process of implementation inculding before and after that, on how to apply dramatic games in gratitude education, in respect of the organization management, assement management and the like of teachers, students and schools. In the end, the thesis analyses the measures on improving the value of dramatic games in gratitude education, holding that requirements on the subject of gratitude education by dramatic games shall be fully understood and the management of dramatic games by schools shall be improved. And it gets enlightments on the reform of the mode and method of the schools' moral education from the application of dramatic games in gratitude education. It concludes that the moral education shall transform from being text-based to being human-based, from monologue and dialogue, from intellectuality to morality, from implantation to intercommunication, let students feel, care, being inspired and introspect themselves through their own experiences, so as to achieve self-education, self-improvement, self-development and self-realization, and thereby realize the transform from intellectual moral education to intercommunication moral education.The feature and innovation of the said research includes two aspects. One is that, it puts forward with the strategy of applying dramatic games in gratitude education for the first time. Dramatic games have not been included in the methods of moral education before.Although dramatic games have some common characteristics with role-playing applied in current moral education methods, it is different from role-playing, with more particularities and implication. The other aspect is that, on the basis of detail and practical design of moral education methods, it makes a breakthrough in the establishment of moral education methods in the past, which was mostly based on theoretic demonstration, moreover it has introduced contents of psychology into the reseach and made imporvement step by step so as to optimize the detail plan at most.
