The Study On Learning Burnout And Its Influencing Factors Of The Higher Vocational College Students

There is no research on learning burnout(LB) in higher vocational colleges as far. In order to investigate the conditions and influencing factors of LB, we designed the "Learning Burnout Questionnaire for Vocational College Students" (LBQVCS) and other questionnaires, such as General Self Efficacy Scale (GSES) , academic self-efficacy scale, Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS), achievement goal orientation scale, are used as measurement implements.The results showed that:(1)The factors that influence learning burnout of vocational college students are mainly environmental and personal.(2) LBQVCS contains three dimensions: emotional turndown (ET), behavioral unsuitableness (BU), low personal accomplishment (LPA). Test results indicate that the questionnaire is of satisfactory reliability and validity, so it can be used for the research.(3) The learning burnout level of vocational college students is comparatively high, especially in LPA and BU. About 31.5% students have the experience of learning burnout.(4) The rate of LB on male students is higher than females in the aspect of improper behavior. The learning burnout level of the students who are from vocational high schools is higher than that of the students from senior high schools.(5) Significant correlation was found between higher vocational college student's learning burnout and academic self-efficacy, social support, achievement goal orientation and general self efficacy, academic self-efficacy is an effective predicted variable of learning burnout. Besides this , social support, performance goal orientation are also predicted variables of learning burnout.
