Objective To understand the status of the learning burnout and the quality of life of students of higher vocational colleges of Anhui Province;to analyse the influencing factors of the learning burnout and the quality of life;to explore the correlation between the learning burnout and the quality of life;to provide empirical support for improving the learning status and basis for the development of the management system and education policy suitable for the physical and mental development.Methods There were 6620 students selected from freshman and sophomore of Tongling Polytechnic three year school by convenience sampling method;the College Students' learning burnout scale,36 item concise health scale(SF-36)and self-designed general questionnaire were utilized in this study;descriptive study and analytic study((>)±SD,percentage,rate,t-test,ANOVA,rank sum test,correlation analysis,multiple linear regression)were used to reveal the status and influencing factors and correlation of the learning burnout and the quality of life.Results(1)The average score of the learning burnout was 2.87 points,behavioral unsuitableness score was 3.07;low personal accomplishment score was 2.89;emotional turndown score was 2.67.(2)The total score of quality of life(75.30±13.24)was lower than that of the norm;eight dimension scores from high score to low: the Physical function(89.46 ±15.26),Social function(80.11±18.59),Role-physical(79.31±30.82),Bodily pain(79.20±16.50),Role emotion(72.44±35.56),General health(69.41±19.54),Vitality(66.53±14.50),Mental health(65.96±15.58);Physical function and General health were higher than the norm and other 6 dimensions were lower than the norm(P<0.05).(3)The influencing factors of the learning burnout and the quality of life were those: gender,grade,enrollment types,character,origin,family environment,family monthly income,daily sleep time,daily internet time,learning pressure,professional satisfaction,employment prospect(P<0.01).(4)Multiple linear regression analysis showed that character,enrollment types,monthly income,professional satisfaction,daily internet time,employment prospect affected the learning burnout(P<0.01);grader,character,origin,family enviroment,daily sleep time,daily internet time,learning pressure,professional satisfaction,employment prospect influenced the quality of life(P<0.01).(5)The results of correlation analysis were showed that the quality of life dimensions PF,RP,BP,GH,VT,SF,RE,MH,PCS,MCS and TS were negatively correlated with emotional turndown,behavioral unsuitableness and low personal accomplishment(P<0.01).Conclussion(1)Higher vocational students' learning burnout is an above-average level,but the misconduct is the most serious.(2)The quality of life of higher vocational students is worse than that of the ordinary people;the level of mental health is lower than that of physical health;the guidance and education of mental health should be paid attention.(3)Character,enrollment types,family monthly income,daily internet time,professional satisfaction and employment prospect affects the learning burnout;grader,character,origin,family enviroment,daily sleep time,daily internet time,learning pressure,professional satisfaction and employment prospect influences the quality of life.(4)There is a significant negative correlation between the learning burnout and the quality of life among higher vocational college students.
