In the 21st century, our social development has been moving forward in the direction of building a harmonious society. Higher institutions is an important factor to pioneer social development ,and to construct the harmonious teacher-student relationship in higher institutions is the key to the construction of harmonious higher institutions.Based on the survey of the conversation theory , this article is an attempt to investigate the harmony and the disharmony in teacher-student relationship in colleges and universities. And it demonstrates the empirical research on the relationship between several distinct groups of teachers and students by means of combing both questionnaires and interview. Then this article analyzes how to eliminate disharmony in teacher-student relationship so as to construct harmonious relationship between them. The construction of the harmonious relationship is actually the process of dissolving the disharmonious relationship , which is , in turn, the key to realize the construction . the correct view on the teacher-student relationship constitutes the theoretic basis for dissolving disharmony. What's ore, the idea of interactive dialogue between teachers and students serves as the core of the view of connecting teacher-student relationship .The favorable and harmonious atmosphere is taken as the premise of constructing harmonious teacher-student relationship in colleges and universities; the mutual understanding based on the logos of "opening your heart" and "embracing your idea" between the teachers and students is the foundation of it ; the personality shock between teachers and students that inclines education to "personalization" is the key to it; and knowledge construction and innovation are the purpose of it.
