The Study On The Activities Teaching Of Geography In Junior High School

The thesis is completed after systematic research into the application of activities teaching of geography from both theoretic and practical aspects,on the basis of new ideas of a comprehensive geographic full-time compulsory education curriculum standards.The purpose of this study is the application of building activities teaching in the geography teaching in junior high school,and the effective promotion of geography teaching by means of research and teaching activities of activities teaching of geography in junior high school.The thesis first expounds on the development of geography and related concepts,and learns from the recent study materials about the activities teaching,and sums up the impact of the educational theories about activities teaching of geography in junior high school.On the basis of this,the thesis constructs functions,features,operational principles,main modes and the safeguard measures in the activities teaching of geography in junior high school.The thesis also probes into the three teaching modes,teaching process,the roles and tasks of teachers and students, etc.The thesis designs a variety of teaching modes and teaching cases,in order to provide workable modes for the activities teaching of geography in junior high school.My thesis is based on my teaching experiment,and is proved by the experimental data.That is,the activities teaching of geography in junior high school will help to improve the students' grades and to motivate their interest in geography and their participation in the involvment of the classroom,to cultivate the spirit of cooperation and make the studdents and teachers near to each other.At the same time,my thesis verifies the feasibility of the implementation of activities teaching of geography in junior high school by means of investigation and surveys, etc,and gives my opinions about problems and difficulties which commonly exist in the implementation of activities,and at the same time puts forward solutions for the junior high school geography teaching activities and provides the theoretical reference and practical foundation for further study into the activities teaching of geography in junior high school.
