Chinese is the most important communication tool and an important component of the human culture.Thus,Chinese education is very important to the survival of human being and development and inheritance of national culture.For the development of people,school education occupied an important position.If you want to enhance students' language accomplishment and use the mother tongue skillfully,you must value the Chinese education of school.At senior middle school stage,it not only links up with the compulsory education,but also prepare for studying deeply and broadly in university.Hence,the selections of Chinese textbooks and the teaching at the senior middle school stage is the problem which every Chinese educator should ponder.Like the poetry and prose,the novel occupied an important position in the Chinese education. But at present,the teaching of novel has much space to be improved from novel's selections to teaching.In the novel's selections,ignoring the students;divorcing from times and society,the heritage of historical and cultural are limited.In the teaching of novel,teaching goals emphasize the subject,analyzes the character and plot and deals with the subject is rigid,even wrong explanation for the text.The teaching of the novel belongs to the reading teaching,but the reading teaching doesn't mean the teaching of the novel,and the novel has its own characteristics.Therefore,the teaching of the novel cannot be fettered by the general reading teaching.Between the hermeneutics and the theory of novel teaching,there is relation and similarity.Consequently,novel teaching may profit from the theory of hermeneutics and the hermeneutics will give the inspiration to all aspects of the novel teaching.We should consider all aspects in the novel's selections.The novel teaching idea should change tradition and single dimension to the experience of fictional games.In practice,novel teaching should aim at fostering students' imagination and wisdom and the content of novel teaching should emphasize the technique of novel.Simultaneously,the method of novel teaching should be student-centered.
