Since the beginning of this century,the eighth basic education curriculum reform has been carried out in China.In June 2001,the Ministry of Education formally issued the"the Outline of the Basic Education Curriculum Reform(Trial)".The outline put forward the following guidance,that is:"change the situation of the too concentrated course management,implement 3-level course management of national,local and schools.Enhance the curriculum's adaptability to locals,schools and students."The above guidance provides a policy basis for the diversity of teaching materials and school-based teaching research and curriculum development.Using the research methods of literature,interviews,surveys etc,this study discusses the practice of school-based PE curriculum resource development from the status quo and countermeasures.The full text of the study is in accordance with the following ideas:"what is the supporting theory of the study-why must we develop school-based PE curriculum content resources-how to develop school-based PE curriculum content resources."Through the following research contents:"an overview of the contents of school-based PE curriculum-the analysis of the status quo of school-based PE curriculum content development-the case study of school-based PE curriculum content development-the counterparts on school-based PE curriculum content development,"the author has put forward the following conclusions:1,In the respect of human resources in secondary schools in North Henan,the distribution of PE teachers is quite uneven between towns and villages in respects of age,job title,qualifications.However,there is a relatively great improvement in academic degrees.Most of PE teachers can develop and utilize human resources to different degree both in and out of schools,which has a direct impact on the depth of sports-based curriculum resource development.2,There is a relative scarcity of sports facilities in North Henan secondary schools. The sports fields are poor both in quantity and in quality.Self-made equipment by PE teachers is very little.However,most PE teachers have adapted and developed sports fields and equipment.They have fulfilled"a course for various purposes,and a piece of equipment for various uses."This shows PE teachers have certain degree of developing awareness.3,During the course of the development,it is existing unreasonable methods and a scarcity in scientific combination of various ways.The main development lies in the transformation of the original.But there are different levels of awareness of developing models.In addition to the characteristic model of"compulsory + elective",31.26%of schools have selected to introduce new model sports as their features.4,PE teachers'enthusiasm for participating in development is not high enough. Many of them take a neutral attitude,and some are even unwilling to participate;their concept is backward,course awareness poor,developing ability low,and many of them don't have a thorough understanding of the educational philosophy in the New Curriculum.5,No enough efforts have been made to learn from or promote successful cases. There has no summary of these cases.No operating paradigm has been formed for schools of the same type to learn from and emulate.
