A large amount of researches at home and abroad have proved that there is a very significant positive correlation between the learning strategies and the scores, and the application of the learning strategies can improve the scores effectively. Regarding the action research as the main approach and the junior middle school students as the experiment subject, I analyze the learning strategies and the action research. After that I research the two different learning strategies in the biology class—class penetration, interaction between teachers and students, and teacher's instruction, group cooperation in the methods of the literature analysis, the questionnaire surveys, the observation and the experiment, and probe into their effects on the formation and the development of the learning strategies of the students. The research has proved that both the two strategies are effective and the second strategy is more effective. The scores and the proficiency in learning strategies are correlative positively and significantly. Action research is an effective means for teachers to come over the problems in teaching and pursue the professional development. Through the research, teachers can get experience and enrich themselves and become a research-based teachers at last.
