Objective:The objective of this research is offering the gist for supervising and evaluating the healthy fitness of spine expediently and efficaciously, and for guiding undergraduates to do physical activities which are good for spinal health. Methods:We used the methods of investigation and case comparison to measure the sagittal curvature and mobility of thoracic and lumbar Spine and physical activity level of 583 undergraduates in some colleges in Nanjing,Shandong and Dalian by Spinalmouse and CPAQ questionnaire. We established the normal range of sagittal curvature and mobility of thoracic and lumbar Spine. Then we compared the undergraduates with different physical activity level to find out the effect of undergraduate physical activity on sagittal curvature and mobility of thoracic and lumbar spine.Results:1.The research gets the normal range of sagittal curvature and mobility of thoracic and lumbar Spine's every move segment, which is fits for 18-21 years old undergraduates in some areas of Nanjing,Shandong and Dalian.2.The research gets the incidence of sagittal segmental curvature and mobility abnormity in thoracic and lumbar spine of undergraduates with different physical activity level, and gets the result of their compare, which is the incidence of sagittal segmental curvature and mobility abnormity in thoracic and lumbar spine in the high activity level group is higher than in the mild activity level group..Conclusions:1.As one of the standards to evaluate the healthy fitness of spine, the normal range of sagittal segmental curvature and mobility of thoracic and lumbar spine is more useful than the normal range of sagittal global curvature and mobility of thoracic and lumbar spine.2. Under the condition of the undergraduate present activities, high activity level is good for keeping sagittal curvature of thoracic and lumbar Spine within the normal range; There is no effect of physical activity level on the happen of deviant sagittal curvature of thoracic spine;the incidence of sagittal segmental curvature and mobility abnormity in thoracic and lumbar spine in the high activity level group is higher than in the mild activity level group.
