This thesis will employ literature data, experimental methods, questionnaire survey and mathematical statistics to experiment on the weight-losing exercise prescription. The subjects are divided into two groups: the experimental group of obese girls of Hunan Women's Vocational University (23≤BMI≤38, n = 176 people), who are asked to implement the weight-losing exercise prescription by controlling diet appropriately, and the control group (23≤BMI≤38, n = 164 people), who are not interfered with by experiments. These two groups are measured the following six physiological and psychological indicators (SCL-90), height, weight, body mass index, waist circumference, vital capacity index and step test index before and after the experiment seperately. At last, a statistical comparative analysis is made to study the effectiveness of the weight-losing exercise prescription. The results show that: firstly, through practising the exercise prescription, obese female college students' cardiopulmonary function and physical health have been improved significantly and the two physiological indicators of spirometry index—performance indicators for cardio-pulmonary function—and step test index have increased clearly. Secondly, this prescription is turned out to beneficial to improving the bodily form of fat girls. Concretely speaking, their body weight, body mass index and waist circumference have significantly declined. Thirdly, this prescription has shown a positive impact on the obese girls' mental health. After the experiment, the SCL-90 indicators of interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety, total sharing and total scores have remarkably decreased. As to the other factors, the scores have reduced slightly, but the differences were not significant. Fourthly, in the research of the weight control behavior's impact on the mental health, it has been found out that obese girls who experienced weight control behavior suffer from worse mental health status than those who don't have such an experience and that weight control behavior will produce a psychological injury. In this experiment, the result that all of the SCL-90 indicators of the experimental group have been reduced shows that the weight-losing exercise prescription is able to promote obese female college students' mental health.
