With its rapid economic development, further reform of society and college enrollment expansion in recent years, China has witnessed mass higher education, and currently the labor supply has reached its peak. An increase in the number of university graduates has put much pressure on current graduates, which makes job market become buyer's market and ends up with supply over demand. With employers being in dominant position and present law system being imperfect, there is more and more infringement on graduates' rights and interests. It affects not only optimization of graduate resources and full employment of graduates, which results in brain waste and aggravation of social inequality, but also the building of harmonious society. In addition, the infringement indicates that the operation system of protecting university graduates' rights and interests fall into dire straits, and thus protecting university graduates' rights and interests becomes an essential problem which needs to be dealt with at present. The paper firstly defines the rights and interests university graduates are entitled to, and then investigates the infringement of their rights by questionnaires and literature so as to look for some typical cases. Besides, with investigation of the status quo of university students' employment and personal interview with some of them, this paper makes further analysis of the reasons for those cases. As for the reasons, the author proposes that with institutional reform and laws, universities and graduates should make joint efforts to come up with the countermeasures.
