An ecological classroom is the natural, harmonious and democratic teaching environment, in which students can characteristically put the teaching content into practice by their own, and the multi-layer interaction between teachers and students can be realized; in which teachers and students can continuously exploit their potential and create their egos; and in which life can be improved and developed, and consequently the teaching efficiency and quality of life can be promoted. Simply to say, the structure of ecological classroom means the relationship among teaching, teachers and students and the environment, and its main purpose is to bring about natural and harmonious environment, interactive producing and development of life. In general, the study on ecological classroom is the specification of educational ecology. For a long time, educators have been persistently exploring a kind of teaching method, which is highly efficient, but not time-consuming, so as to realize the situation pursued by J.A.Comenius-teachers can teach less, but students still can get more. But the reality confronting us is that teachers and students are terribly exhausted by spending far more time struggling to study. Therefore, based on the basic principles of ecological classroom, the author of this paper analyzed the causes of the poor teaching efficiency in the classroom at present in order to discover the joint between ecological classroom and high efficiency of teaching. And the aim of the endeavour is to help teachers and students together realize the development of life and the high efficiency of teaching in the ecological classroom.The whole thesis consists of four parts as follows:The first part is the introduction. This part introduces the reasons of the study and its theoretical and pracrtical significance. And at the same time, according to the analysis of the relative investigation about ecological classroom and high-efficiency teaching, the vacuum of this field is discovered.The second part analyzes the definitions and features of ecological classroom and high-efficiency teaching. In this paper, ecological classroom is considered to examine a class in terms of views of ecology. And it advocates the environment of nature, harmony and democracy, in which teachers and students can characteristically carry out the teaching content and the multi-layer interaction between teachers and students by their own. So that they can continuously exploit their potential and shape their egos, improve and develop their lives, and finally , the teaching efficiency and quality of life can be wholy promoted. In the environment like this, teachers and students will consume minimum of time and energy, but they can obtain as much knowledge as possible, their skill can be improved in the biggest degree, and their concept of emotion ,attitude and value can be developed to the greatest extent. In addition, not only teachers but also students can work happily and healthily during the teaching process. Meanwhile, this part offers analysis of the influencial factors of high-efficiency teaching in ecological classroom from the four aspects: teachers, students, environment and culture. In the light of this analysis, the author holds that the ecological elements have close connection with the realization of high-efficiency teaching.In the third part, the author offers the analysis of the problems existing in troditional classroom, and finds out the following causes of the poor teaching efficiency . Firstly, the pressure of entering higher school unbalances the class. Secondly, the adults' logic of teachers is opposite to the children's philosophy. And then, the boring way of teaching makes students lose their interest in learning. What's more, the teaching only within the content of textbooks makes knowledge unconnected. As a result, the loss of ecological rules of the classroom is regarded as an important cause of low-efficiency teaching.The fourth part puts forward the strategy of conducting high-efficiency teaching in ecological classroom, that is to say, to obey the basic rules of ecological classroom, which includes: (1) the teaching goal shoud be based on the thought of balancing the relationship among every aspect; (2) a variety of teaching methods shoud be adopted on the purpose of harmony; (3) We should establish an open and equal reationship between teachers and students grounding on the thought of democracy; (4) The teaching assessment should be complete and objective,with the development of life as the final target.
