This research is based on the working time investment among secondary school teachers.Time is one of the most valuable resources,which can not be retrieved,purchased,paused nor negotiated. Seemingly,teachers invest the time and complete the teaching assignments in order to get paid. However,teachers invest more than that.Teachers invest painstaking efforts as well as the precious time.The fruit of the efforts is the students' growth and development,which are of far-reaching sociological significance.Hence,the intangible value from the teachers time invest is far more significant than tangible value.This research is a case study based on an S school in Yaodu District,Linfen City. Questionnaires and individual interview regarding the time investment on teaching,educational research,management and professional development were conducted to the teachers working for that school.The re-consideration about teachers' laboring and lives can be illumined from the statics and observation on teachers' working time investment.Therefore,it calls the attention to teachers' professional training.Even more,it forms the basis for the educational policy regarding the teachers' professional training and management.The content of the thesis is as follows:Prolegomenon:it is composed of cause for the reach,related definition,the purpose and significance of the research and the literary review.Chapter 1:questionnaires and individual interview were adopted to depict and analyze the teacher working time from the statics and realistic life.After drawing the conclusion,which the teacher spend more total working time to work,further analysis was made based problems reflected from the conclusion. Chapter 2:this chapter probes into the factors that may affect the teachers' working time investment;mainly from the social factors,educational administration,teachers' working objects and teachers themselves.Chapter 3:it suggestions to optimize secondary teachers' working investment and management. Suggestions are offered from the perspectives of government,school administrators and teachers themselves.Chapter 4:the reflection of teachers' actual working time investment,including the peculiarity about teachers' laboring,the teachers' life value and the attention to teachers' life.
