Objective:This study aimed to understand the status of Hunan Vocational teacher’s stress, organizational justice and burnout, and stady the relationship of burnout, work stress and organizational justice.Methods:In this article, we used a questionnaire which is modified by Chao ping Li and Shikan to investigate the Working Stress, the organizational justice, and job burnout of vocational teachers in five vocational colleges of Hunan province. We released500pieces of sheets; received492valided sheets in return.Results:(1) In vocational colleges, althouth the teachers’general work stress is on the high side (M=2.34), it hasn’t reached the serious level; the teachers’organizational justice perception is higher, among them the leaders’organizational justice perception is highest, and its average value is3.16; in addition, the vocational college teacher’s job burnout is not serious on the whole, as the scores of the three dimensions on the Job-Burnout Scale for Teachers are not over3.0.(2) As for the work pressure, organizational justice perception and job-burnout of teachers, there are significant differences in sex, age, marital status, teaching age, education background, professional title, performance and workload. Femal teachers’work stress and organizational justice perception is obviousely higher than male teachers; the work stress of the group aged from20to30is significantly higher than the other three age groups; the higher the education backgrounmd is, the higher the work stress is and the greater sense of achievement the teachers feel.(3)A significant positive correlation can be found between work pressure and job burnout(r=.43**), which shows that the higher the work stress is, the more serious the job burnout is. Moreover, a significant negative correlation can be found between organizational justice perception and job burnout (r=-.388**), which shows that the higher the organizational justice perception is, the less job burnout the teachers experience. The fair oragnisational environment is the potential endless work power for teachers.Conclusions:Vocational teacher’s work stress is caused by an important factor in their burnout. Organizational justice imposed a mediation effect between Working Stress and job burnout. It helped the teacher to resist the negative effects of occupational stress, and helped to relieve the extent of job burnout.
