Analysis Of The Differentiation In Mathematical Grades For The Top Students In Ordinary High Schools

Nowadays,the phenomenon of differentiation in studying mathematics for some students in high school is becoming worse and worse,especially for some top students. On one hand,parents pay attention to this problem,who thinks that their children were top students when they were admitted to the high school,so their grades can stay the same all the time.On the other hand,schools and teachers also pay attention to it, after all,the differentiation in grades brings some bad effects on children.So,they try to discover the reasons,so that,they can take proper measures.Anyhow it is important to discuss how to prevent the differentiation in grades for the top students.So,I did a questionnaire survey on the students in Weichang No.1 high school. The survey focused on three aspects:the internal environment,individual student and the external environment.Through the survey,we acknowledge some proper strategies on how to control the differentiation.1.The reasons inside of school:First there is a lack of advanced educational philosophy.Second,the diviation in teacher's understanding.Third,there are problems in teaching method.Forth,there is the ignorance of emotion in teaching. Measures:First,we should set up right attitude towards education.Second,teachers should improve themselves.Third,we should adopt proper teaching strategies.Forth, we must pay attention to emotional factor.2.The reasons in individual students:First,it is the lack of experience on success. Second,students fall behind in learning method.Third,they have improper excuse for achievement.Measures:First,we should strengthen the education their mental health. Second,the students should master scientific learning method.3.The external reasons:First,there are some bad influences from society. Second,improper family education.Measures:First,Parents should create a harmonious,demcocratic and active family atmosphere.Second,we must pay attention to educational manners,and improve the education quality. The practice of this topic proves that it is necessary to be particular about the differentiation among top students and we should monitor and control it in time.Also, it is possible to help some top students regain their quality to some extent.Through doing so,we can help those top students who have strong desire in studying go forward firm and confidently in learning.
