America's teacher education has been at the forefront in the world. With the development of the economy, politics and culture, the model of American teacher education has undergone significant adjustments and changes. What's more , the comprehensive concern has been caused around the world because of the remarkable achievements it has acquired . Focusing on "the diversifying model of American teacher education", this study started to probe into this subject from different angles. Through analysing its history, current situation, shaping factors and characteristics, this thesis elicits the easonableness and defects of America's teacher education.
