Since Provincial and municipal key high schools were renamed as demonstrative high schools in Henan Province in the fall of 2005,the named demonstrative high schools have begun to play their leading role,which aims to guide the development of education in Henan Province to a better direction.On this basis,the concept of school building in demonstrative high schools is combined with the concept of "one school and one product" proposed by the Ministry of Education,so as to achieve the added effect of improving the education and teaching level of Henan Province.School sports,as an integral part of school education,plays an important role in cultivating students to develop lifelong sports habits and mastering sports skills.While the construction of "one school,one product"characteristic sports in demonstative high schools can not only help to improve the enthusiasm of students to participate in extracurricular activities as well as encourage students to develop the habit of lifelong physical education,but also help to promote the implementation of the national fitness program.Therefore,starting from the present situation of the construction of characteristic sports in the county-level provincial demonstrative high schools in henan Province,combined with the hardware facilities and teachers in demonstrative high schools,this study adopts the methods of literature,invetigation and statistics to analyze the inadequacies of building shcools which have carried out "one school,one product"as well as the advantages of "one school,one product"characteristic sports construction in the county-level provincial demonstrative high schools in Henan Province.The research findings are as follows:1.At present,the construction of "one school,one product" characteristic sports in Henan provincial-level demonstrative high schools is not optimistic.Its main problems are:(1)There are a number of county-level provincial demonstrative high schools,but the popularity rate of "one school,one product" characteristic sports is low.(2)The implementation of the project is relatively simple,mainly football and basketball.(3)There are omissions in the construction system,lack of effective monitoring and feedback mechanism.(4)Both the gender ratio of male and female teachers and the proportion of teachers and students are relatively large,and the situation of large class teaching still exists.The continuing education and the scientific research capacity of physical education teachers needs to be improved.(5)Students have a positive attitude and a clear participation motivation.(6)Site facilities are single and the effective utilization rate is low.(7)The channels of project fund source are single and vary greatly.2.Attribution analysis of the problems of "one school,one product" characteristic sports construction in county level demonstrative high schools in Henan Province:(1)The pursuit of college entrance rate in the school and society led to the development of the school centered on culture class.(2)The promotion of "campus football" and the impact as well as the availability of sports programs have led to the emergence of football basketball as "a product" of many schools.(3)"Blindly following the trend" and "formalism"lead to the top-down construction system fault.(4)The particularity of physical education and the supervision of school enrollment and the parents' pursuit of "good schools"lead to gender imbalance and the existence of large class teaching.(5)The transformation of teaching philosophy encourages students to develop in many ways.The influence of physical exercise on the body makes students participate actively.(6)The hardware requirements of the provincial demonstrative high schools make the facilities such as track and field become"standard".(7)Lack of cooperation with social enterprises and institutions has led to the excessive dependence on financial subsidies of funding sources for school construction.3.In view of the above problems,this study also puts forward the following countermeasures and suggestions:(1)dividing the construction circle to make the strong drive the weak;(2)understanding the foundation of students and carrying out advantageous projects;(3)setting up the "operation" system and increasing the feedback system;(4)building teachers' groups and improving skills;(5)giving full play to hobbies and specialties and cultivating the backbone of sports;(6)Balancing resource allocation and broadening funding channels.
