University counselor ranks are the backbone of the work force of ideological and political education of university students, they need to use the basic tenets of Marxism, viewpoints and methods of guiding university students understand the world and know society, distinguish between right and wrong, students enhance political discernment and political acumen. Their work relates to moral education, day-to-day work related to student learning, psychological, growth, health, employment and other questions. Because of complexity of their Job object and diversity of job content, the quality of the counselors themselves have put new demands on. How to improve the overall quality of counselors, strengthen their team-building, is facing an important issue to further improve the ideological and political education work.At present, many university had a performance management to counselors in china, but there are many problems at the prevalence of management ,such as most use of methods is man-made, in the final identification of indicators; blindness, subjectivity is too obvious, not only re-examination re-application of feedback and so on. to build up such a counselor performance management system, not only will not achieve the desired results, can not inspire counselors team take the initiative to tap the potential to create a more high performance, but also because their job has not been comprehensive, accurate responses may to some extent dampen the enthusiasm of its work.To improve counselors' job quality, to answer these questions, based on the performance management of the relevant theoretical analysis, at the adoption of objectives on the basis of various indicators to try to build a new university counselor performance management system, and in the light of the system pointed out that the current performance management university counselor Problems, as well as inspiration. This system can help improve counselors' performance management, and improve quality of counselors work.
