In recent years,research on career decision-making self-efficacy has been increasing both domestic and abroad,which provides theoretical reference for choosing job and vocational guidance.However,research specifically for career decision-making self-efficacy of vocational school is rare.With the expansion of the higher education,the employment condition is becoming serious.Therefore,it's necessary to begin research on this area.Based on the correlative research on career decision-making self-efficacy at home and abroad,this dissertation studies the career decision-making self-efficacy situation of students of vocational schools in Chengdu,using questionnaire survey.Moreover, we update the Career Decision-making Difficulty Questionnaire to study the issues of career decision-making difficulties of the students from vocational schools and its relationship with self-efficacy.The research results indicate:1.CDMSE apply to the assessment of vocational school students.The revised CDDQ also apply to the assessment of vocational school students.2.The overall level of career decision-making self-efficacy of vocational school students in Chengdu is above the average,though there exists notable differences in individuals.We note that some students have low level of career decision-making self-efficacy.The author conduct the variance analysis and get the results as following: there exists distinct difference in grades on dimension of message-gathering,gender on dimension of problem-solving and self-assessment,,major on dimension of aim-choosing and problem solving,career experience on dimension of message-gathering.However there is no difference in decision-making self-efficacy, whether the students are only-child or not,and whether the students come from urban or rural areas.3.The overall level of career decision-making difficulty of vocational school students in Chengdu is average.Moreover,the development is imbalance,mainly of lack of information significantly higher than lack of information and inconsistent information.Students having career experience have distinct lower score in CDDQ, especially in lack of readiness and lack of information.4.The study suggests significant correlation between career decision-making difficulty and decision-making self-efficacy of vocational school students in Chengdu. Furthermore,students of different level of career decision-making self-efficacy have different difficulty in different process.
