A Research On Risk Management Of Big-Scale Sports Events

With the expanding of the scale and effection,and changes of the environment,the big-scale sports events will be much more complex than before and many uncertain factors will be appeared in the process of its operation;because of the particulality of sports events,that is the producing and consuming of the production are simultaneous,which requests the organizers keep ready for the sports events about all kinds of risks in their management.In the meantime,owe to the charaterizing of bussiness and market of the sports events model,and the power of the benefit-relater becomes more clarified,which make them must bear risk for themselves.Therefore,it is significant and urgent for the risk management of big-scale sports events.Through checking a great deal of literatures,it is discoved that:the research of risk management in the sports events by current local scholar are more qualitative description, little quantitative analysis;more theories,little empirical study,and the research is limited by general periodical article but less reseach on the risk management of big-scale sports events.So,according to the process of risk management,this paper draws up a theory study on several risk factors in the operation of sports events including risk classification, risk identification,risk valuation analysis and risk measures.On the other hand,the theory and method of parts of contents are used on empirical studies.Finally,the text also makes a further understanding on the risk management of big-scale sports events through both qualitative description and quantitative analysis on the 2007 ZhengBian International Marathon.AHP is introduced and applied in the reseach.On the part of quantitative analysis,AHP is used to study the 2007 ZhengBian International Marathon which is a big-scale sports event.This study shows that the main identified sub-risks of the Marathon including organizing management risk,personnel's risk and business risk are above 90%of the whole,which is conform to circumstance of the on-site inspection in that very day.It is offered valuable reference for the organizers to judge in time and decide correctly.
