The physical education in high school is an important foundation and guarantee for arousing teen-agers' lives and quality of life. However, there exists a phenomenon that high school physical education is seriously lacking of life consciousness. This research explains relevant contents of life education and presents the necessity of promoting life education through physical education. The concept of life education should work as a theoretical guidance which helps upgrading physical education from cognitive perspective to life perspective to promote students' growth and life quality.This research adopts teaching practice in the view of life education to investigate the effects on accomplishment of the targets of life education, students' self-concept,interpersonal relation,human and natural relationship through integrated life education activities in physical education. Based on the research result, proposing a certain suggestions for education curriculum and teachers' references.This research uses two eighth-grade classes in Minhang Middle School in Shanghai as experimental subjects. Intergrated teaching experimental samples and contrasting samples are included in the research and the whole process lasts a semester(2008-2009 1st half). They are measured and evaluated using "Life Education Achievement Scale" . Using SPSS to proceed statistic analysis and to examine the assumption of the research. The research resulets are concluded as follows: no immediate influences on Self Concept; no immediate influences on Interpersonal Relationship; no immediate influences on Human and Natural Relationship. In addition, students also learned some necessary survival skills through integrated life education learning.
