Cultivation Objective Change Of Higher Vocational Education In Our Country Near 30 Years And Cause Analyses

The cultivation objective of higher vocational education in our country has changed in recent 30 years. In the beginning it was changed from professional talents to occupational talents. Thus it is clear that occupational talents are connotation of the cultivation objective of higher vocational education. Then it was changed from technology application talents to high skill talents. Thus it is clear that the cultivation objective of higher vocational education in the initial stage of socialism is high skill talents, not technology talents.The dissertation defines the terms 'technology talents and skill talents', 'technology application talents and high skill talents'. The analysis of cause is done at several different angles. From sociology angle, that high skill talents are the cultivation objective of higher vocational education, is the guidance of social industry development, The regional intervention have a greater impact on the changing from professional talents to occupational talents. From education angle, the changing from the fuzzy objective to clear objective is the result of pressure of higher education popularization. The impacts to higher vocational education are to adjust the structure of vocational education courses, to increase practice in teaching process, realize guidance of employmentFinally, the dissertation indicates the significances and revelations. The significances: first, fill up the gap of high skill talents; second, realize the olivary structure of social class in our country; third, promote balanced development of education in our country; fourth, accelerate socialization progress of young people. And the revelations: first, treat fairly high skill talents; second, avoid to value technology and despise skill.
