A Research On Talents Cultivation Objective Of Applied Technology University In China

The present research is based on the subject of personnel cultivation objective of applied technology universities in China,using methods of documentary analysis,comparative research and content analysis,in order to clarify the differences between applied technology universities,engineering applied universities and higher vocational colleges.Then we are going to define a position of its overall objective and qualities,and puts forward the realization path and safeguards of this this objective.The latter is designed to make a contribution to the development of applied technology universities(colleges)and the construction of a modern vocational education system.The author considers the applied technology university as a higher educational institution that has an equal status with traditional ordinary colleges and with the same type of higher vocational college,which is established through up-gradation or transformation of local colleges,to meet the needs of economic transformation and technology upgrading.Compared with the abovementioned,the personnel cultivation objective of applied technology university has the two attributes of "higher" as far as the level and “professional” according to its type.Specifically,the goal of talent training in applied technology universities is "applied technology talents",which emphasizes characteristics of application,innovation,technology and industry.The objective positioning of applied technology university should consider not only the demand of talents for social and economic development,but also the needs of students’ physical and mental growth,including the actual situation of schools.Talent cultivation of applied technology university is kind of applied talents,their promotion mainly takes place at the level of bachelor programs,and focus on all technical fields in our society,who need to grasp the deep professional knowledge and enough general knowledge,acquire key capabilities and professional skills,and pursuit social morality and occupational ethics.The realization of the talents training goal of the applied technical university needs the cooperation and joint efforts of the authorities,the whole society and schools.The government should consummate the classification management system,strengthen the power of financialbackers and establish a perfect jurisprudence.Society need to change traditional concept of talent,innovate in enterprising participation mode and make non-governmental colleges play an efficient role in education.Schools need to set up an industry oriented professional structure,a technology oriented curriculum system,an application oriented teaching system an integration oriented practice system and a "dual lectureship,dual function" structure of teaching staff.Only in those way can provide a strong guarantee for cultivating goal of applied technology university achieved.
