The Decision on the Foundation Education Reform And Development of State Council starts a new round of curriculum reform. How to combine inquiry teaching and traditional teaching is a question for us to study.Inquiry teaching is advocated by a new curriculum standards,it makes the students improve greatly on all sides. However, there exist many contradictions between this teaching model and the current education system. It is hard for the teachers to use it voluntarily. The traditional teaching model is relatively stable.It has made tremendous contributions to training the students. With the implementation of the New Curriculum Reform, however, the traditional teaching model doesn't agree with the development of the society. So, how to exert the advantages of the two teaching models, how to overcome the shortcomings, how to combine the two teaching styles effectively, and how to use complementarity different types of chemical lessons are the contents of my thesis.First of all, the thesis clarifies the background of the conformity of inquiring teaching and traditional teaching in chemistry and the research situation at home and abroad. The thesis also describes the drawbacks of using a single kind of teaching model. At the same time, judging from the current materials, no matter at home and abroad, more researches are done singly for inquiry teaching and traditional teaching model,and less are done for their conformity. That is , there is no high theory research and the teaching cases are not practical. Hope the thesis can offer some useful references to some middle school chemical teachers and other educators, and I hope the advanced teaching theory can be used conviniently in the teaching practice. Secondly, the thesis clarifies the meanings, and values of the effective conformity of the two teaching models,besides,through questionnaire and talking with students. I analysis the situation of the chemistry teaching in middle school and clarify the necessity of the conformity. Thirdly, the thesis clarifies the relevant theories, such as the implications, elements, advantages and disadvantages of inquiry teaching and traditional teaching, pedagogy, psychology and so on. Forthly, it clarifies the fundamental and tactics of the effective conformity, as well as the author's own experience. The author also designs the teaching examples of the effective conformity in three types of lessons and applies it in the teaching practice. Through nearly about 3 years' teaching practice and comparison between pre-test and post-test, the author explaines using this model can avoid the disadvantages in some degree and make the teaching more effective. Finally, the result is evaluated by myself and others, then the author explaines the disadvantages and other subjects.In a word, the thesis is based on the modern pedagogy, psychology, clarifies the meaning, principle, tactics of the effective conformity, analyses the examples of the effective conformity in different types of chemistry lessons, aiming at applying this teaching model in chemistry lessons. Not only can it make the students master the knowledge, but also it can improve the relationship between the teachers and the students, as well as the students' relationship. What's more, it can improve the students' integrating skills.
