In the contemporary basic chemical education reform tide, the inquiry teaching is common reform orientation at aboard and home.The new curriculum reforms initiates to develop the inquiry teaching vigorously in various principles, so as to adapt society's progress and the request of talented persons. The inquiry teaching provides an important way to achieve the education goal of attaining"knowledge and skill, process and method, emotional attitude and values", that the new chemistry curriculum standard proposes.Based on our country high school chemistry new curriculum characteristic , the present situation of education, and the pedagogy and the psychology related theory, integrated inquiry teaching and advantages of traditional instruction, this research proposes a Guided Inquiry Teaching pattern in class and Independent Inquiring experimental pattern in extracurricular Research-based Learning activity.The ends of this research are providing theoretic support and practical reference to implement the inquiry teaching in senior middle school chemistry education.With the investigation study method and the contrast...
