New Rural Construction And Rural Belief Problem Research

The core of modernization is modern spiritual culture. New rural construction particularly needs guidance and support of modern science spirit, which plays an important role. Recently, the new rural development has made significant achievements, but there are many issues of concern the in rural belief, which has a bad effect on new rural construction. In this paper, taking Hou Niuji Village of Tengzhou city as an case to illustrate the current status of rural beliefs, characteristics, and problems, in order to explore the road to ration the rural belief.This paper, in addition to preface, can be divided into four parts:The first part is analysis on the structure-function and interaction mechanism ofthe rural belief and new rural construction. Belief can be divided into domestic andforeign beliefs. New rural construction includes physical, institutional and culturalconstruction. In the interactive process of the two, positive and malignant effect will both occur.The second part is to give a detailed description of the belief situation. Belief situation can be illustrated as follows: Tradition and diversification, both the unitary and the diversified, low-level, elder-dominated, female-dominated, over-utilitarianism, and so on.The third part is analysis on the belief in China's rural problems and the reasons. Problems can be illustrated as follows: conflict, vulgar, over-materialistic, conflict between Christianity and traditional practices., which is decided by the special characteristics of economic, social reality, historical causes, culture and institutionalized religion in rural area.The fourth part is to promote the advices to rationalize the belief in Chinese rural area. Establish the concept of " Integration but different"; Re-shape the rural socio-cultural atmosphere; Improve the rural social security system; Enhance the dynamic of rural faith.
